About the Surf lesson

Surfing at Sidi Kaouki is a dance with nature, an act of faith and respect for the ocean. By adopting a spiritual and positive approach, we allow the sea to offer us its best version, giving us moments of pure magic and deep connection.

Our lesson include theory and practice, they last around 2 hours with most of the time spent in the water. Our experienced guides will help you get the most out of your session.

Once you book your lesson, our surf instructor will get in touch with you a few days before to schedule the session based on the tides and conditions in Sidi Kaouki.

Before we start our session we will do a short warm up on the beach and:

For beginners we will show you the basic techniques to get you standing up and catching waves in no time
For more experienced surfers we will have a chat about what you want to get out of the session and we may spend some time working on your technique before we get out into the water.

In the water our instructors will

In beginner lessons your instructor will help you catch some small waves and guide you through when to paddle, when to stand up and how to spot a good wave.
For more experienced surfers we will paddle out with you and give you tailored advice based on your goals and our observations. We will give you encouragement where needed to get you catching bigger waves and riding them for longer!
