I first picked up a surf board in the 80s...an old beat up board, no wetsuit, no instructor...just me, the board and the ocean. I quickly became passionate about the sport and since then I've practiced many water sports throughout Morocco.

With decades of experience and an in-depth knowledge of Moroccan waves, I founded a surf club in Sidi Kaouki in 2002...the first club to open in the town.

I founded Kaouki Surf Therapy with the aim of sharing our passion for the sea and waves with everyone, without exception. The sea offers more than just an exhilarating ride, I wanted to share how our connection with the ocean, the waves and nature can help us in everyday life from overcoming anxiety, getting through tough times and building our confidence.

Today, I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and love of the ocean with others, guiding them on their own surfing adventure.

Over the years I've had the privilege of welcoming many world surfing champions and have help thousands of surfers start their journey.

The club offers more than just surfing is a place to connect with others, share tea and food, play music, laugh, cry, dance and of course connect with the ocean...everyone is welcome, without exception.
